Do it Low, just use something other than SoloXs. Throw in four of something that will actually sound good while being loud.

I cant wait to see the remodeled Fi BTL when it comes out early this summer. Should be a BEAST. put 3 of those (18 inchers of course) in a blowthrough, daayum.

 

at my shop they put 4 13jl w7s in the back on a h2 and damn that thing HIT. and the funny thing was its for this dude from africa and he travels to dallas for business and he bought the car here and customized it and had it shipped back to africa

Have you heard what the BTL's will run...? (Price/Power) The only reason I had decided on the SoloX's were that I get them dirt cheap, 5000W RMS and no one has them...

 

Travis, did you ever get your 18 metered? Cause I would like an idea of the output with the SoloX.

 

i think its going to be around the same power but there are more options that you can get as opposed to the previous model, for instance, their website says taht there is a universal motor assembly so you can swap out the coils for other ones in that driver line up, pretty cool option if you ask me

 

Ya, that is pretty neat... I just need to find out the price point on them... Cause Im getting the 18's Solos for under 500...

 

As much of a fan as I am of the 'not so well known' brands, I couldnt tell you a whole lot about the BTL. To tell you the truth, Im just not really a fan of Fi at all. They just don't appeal to me much for some reason; many other things I would go for before Fi........ just my stubborn self talking though.


You know, as well as I, that your an SQ guy....what are you going to do when you throw a couple-a-four Solo Farts in there and have nothing but "THUD....THUD.....THUD..." Just because you can get them cheap doesnt mean you should run them....you could hardly give me a Solo X to save my life. Within a week you will be wanting something that acutally sounds like music...

What other brands can you get a deal on?

 

I also really love the hard SPL bass too... I just like audio. But I do prefer SQ. I would have them setup on a AS NEEDED basis...

I get ECL, PLK, KKR, PIO, BAZ and a couple others...
