Got my PDX amps!!

Got my PDX amps on Friday, they are going in on Monday to replace my Fosgate amps.

moving them to the back wall behind passenger seat so I can put the F250 cargo tray back in my truck.

I will get some pics

Picked up the 4X100 and the 1X600
Taking out the Fosgate cap, and rewiring.

I debated on the 1000 but settled on the 600

I used my dealer pricing to get them cheap...so I have to "demo" them to a few potential customers.

Nice to have my Fosgates out and the new PDX's.

A pic of the destruction.

Me too, they are half the size of what they replaced.

The stacking option is cool. I am actually going to lower them on the back wall by 2 inches next weekend and redo the grounds.

I need to read the manual more....get the sound dialed in.

BTW, this is what my amps looked like before...now I have that space back so I can use my Cargo Tray again, and that makes me happy....no more shot guns across my KR leather.

Looks good! I have the 1.1000 running my 10's and it sounds great. Best $400 I have spent in a while.

I prob should have gotten the 1X1000 oh well, it does sound better then those punch amps I had.

The whole point of the PDX amps for me was location so I could get my cargo tray back. That has been bothering me since I did the fosgates in this truck.

Looks clean, i have the same two amps, i have them on the back wall right now but will be putting them in the center console i think. Do you remember what length of screw you used, self tappers right?

they are self tapping and it's hard to get through that back wall I might add...they are more than an 1" I would say they are 1.5".

For the PDX amps you don't need that long pending the location of the install.

To stack them, they come with bolts. Tip: don't overnighten the caps where the bolts are going. I had to drill one out with a Drimel, it wasn't fun.

i just got a pdx-5 channel amp
i am AMAZED at how small this this is. i was gonna get the jl audio 5 channel, but its long as hell. i bought this little daddy and i actually thought they sent me the wrong amp.
the spec sheet says: 75x4 + 300x1 RMS
the birth sheet says: 110X4 + 371x1 RMS

its so small i am gonna just stick it under the rear seat in the middle and use some velcro.

i just don't know where to stick the cd changer at...does anybody have theirs in the middle console?
