Tuning?
I have the Pioneer AVIC D3, and a 4channel Kicker amp running the front and rear door speakers. Front door speakers are components with a crossover located in the door, rears are Kicker coaxials. I also have a Kicker mono amp for 2 10" Kicker subs.
I have High Pass Filter adjustsments on the headunit and on the amp. I have sub woofer controls on the headunit and the sub amp also.
Many years ago I only used a seperate crossovers that would control the whole system and I would not use any settings on the headunit or amps. So I'd like to see how others are tuning with a system like this.
What adjustments would you make and on what? Should I bypass the amps and only use the headunit or bypass the headunit and only use the amps or use both?
Right now I'm using both. The sub is set too 80 on the both the headunit and the amp. The 4channel amp is using the HPF for the rear door speakers.
Thanks
