Multi Sub Wiring
Multi Sub Wiring
I have a quick dumb question. I am switching from 1-4 ohm 10" to 2-4 ohm 10" with a TMA 500.1 amp. I want to wire @ 2 ohm load. My question I understand the diagrams and that is no issue but every diagram shows a "T" on each leg. Should I -
I was trying to avoid a splice in the legs if possible and stay with connections at existing terminals but want to make sure to not alter impedance.
Thanks
- bring both + and - back to the amp terminal for a 2 ohm load
- Connect amp to one sub and run additional leg from sub "a" jack to sub "b".
- Use a "T" splice from the amp run to each sub exactly as shown in diagrams.
