I know i'm making this a lot more difficult than it is, but here goes....

I'm trying to install an aftermarket amp into a 2002 F150 FX4. I've got an aftermarket HU, so the RCA's plug right in, but I'm confused about where the remote wire hooks up to.

I was looking at the wiring diagram/info on Installdr.com and it says:

I Amplifier Turn On- Do Not Use For This Vehicle
J Power Antenna Turn On- Do Not Use For This Vehicle

Where should I hook up the remote wire to? Should I splice it into a different wire or what? Neither of these wires are even there in the wiring harness.

Anyone that can help would be appreciated!

 

Blue/White (I) if thats not there. Then use Blue (J)

 

Thats what i'm having problems with.....

neither one of them are there.

 

Ok. hook up to the red ign. wire if those arent present on the radio.
