crunch amps

has anyone got any insight on these amps they seem to really push some power

Crunch = American Pro. Cheap and not something i would buy for me or anyone else. Its the Maxxsonics scrap heap. Which is by no means a positive.

well what is something that will push 4 12's that are dual 4 ohms a piece and 700rms a piece it will come down to a 2ohm load if using one amp or i can use 2 amps and it will be a 1ohm load to each amp so either i need 2 1500 watt amps or one 3000 watt amp thos watts at rms that is, i am wanting a good amp but not wanting to spend over 500 for a amp

look at Hifonics Mono amps. they are pretty decent amps for a cheaper price and they put out the watts they are rated at.

You want an amp thats gonna push all that then get a brand name amp and spend the money. I went the cheap route for awhile then finally bought the good stuff, and it's woth the money to do it right.

In my experience with them... They suck.

I picked this amp up for my nephew from Travis at kcautosound.com I've been a DB Drive guy for years ever since Travis turned me on to them. This is their newest Speed Series 1500 watt amp at 1ohm. Paid $350 plus shipping.



I have in my Monte Carlo two of their last year model DB Drive Platinum PD1200.1 amps rated at 1200 watts at 1 ohm. I have them pumping out 2400 watts strapped together at 2 ohms. I'm running four of the DB Platinum Series PLW 10" subs on them. These amps have never let me down.

My brother is going to be buying my amps here in the next month and I'm going to jump into the newer model ones that have a fan built into the top and have a lit DB Drive logo on the top of them.

Sundown 1500d will do 1800 at 1 ohm on good electrical and can be bought for 350 shipped for a refurb. Will also do .5 ohm daily, if your not a complete tard.
