I ran mine right under the sill plate. There is a plastic gutter type thing under the sill plates that the stock wires run in. I cut the tape around it and layed the 1/0 down in there, fits great.

People seem to be ok grounding their amps like that. I prefer grounding straight to a solid piece on the body myself.

I've seen SOOO many people with problems when grounding to bolts, but then again I've seen more people wit zero problems...if you decide to use a bolt, make sure that you scrape some of the paint on the bottom of the bolt off to make sure you got a good contact

Stabilant. Use Stabilant. Good chit, dat.

Oh yeah - the wires. I just run 'em out a window, up over the roof, down the A pillar, and into the engine bay - Easier to change when it's always a work in constant upheaval. Use body-colour cable & Don't fergit the duct tape lol.

Never even heard of that stuff, had to look it up on Google Looks pretty interesting

You duct tape your wires??? I usually just let em hang wherever. Ive found that out the back windown, between the bed and cab, then draging on the ground up to the engine bay works equally as well

Dang - never thought of that. Bless Teflon/hitemp silicon insulation.

So - the Hot lead along the exhaust.

And the ground lead run as per Bartak's method. That'll double as a static discharge solution too.

Got it. New best practice.

Tanks!
