Alpine PDX Amps

Just wondering if anyone is using them if so, how do you like them?

Thinking of converting my Fosgates amps to Alpine.

Havent personally used any, but I havent heard any complaints about them really.
Played around with one in a store...but theres not much to do or figure out with one on a soundboard. If nothing else they look cool

I have the PDX 4.150 and I was disappointed at first....... why? Because I had it set up wrong....Now that it has been set up right.........I love it. I have type x comps in the front and 2 ED 10 subs on ch 3/4..

Gimme a couple of weeks and I'll tell ya. I plan on ordering a 4.150 and a 1.600.

I picked them based on size and the fact that they are stable at both 2 or 4 ohm with full rated power. Or at least their specs say so.

Thanks for the notes, Those are the two amps I was looking at. They are pricey but they seem to be stable.

Let us know about your install and how you like them.

I need to sell some more software so i can buy them.

RollingRock you may want to look at the new power series rockfords, the t500-1bd and the t400-4. They are in a new smaller chassis, remain super strong. The alpines can't disapate the heat as well if you really beat on them. I sell both and own a rockford (power1000 25-life).

Your ears must of been burning, I was talking about you in the multimedia area trying to get you some more bidness.

I'll look in the amps, I want to move my amps to the back wall opp of the subs...dumb question...with an F250 PSD do I really need a Cap?
