Might get this amp, questions

im about to order a sony xplod XM-d9001GTR. is this a good one to go with? with 2 4ohm subs, and the speaker terminals wired parallel internally, it should be pushing 900w to both subs.

Wired for 2 ohms, yes, you would have 900 watts between the two subs. Considering it's a Sony Xplod, your probably looking at more like 750 watts, so probably about 375 per sub. Sony isnt exactly 'quality', but it will work...for awhile.

How much are you wanting to spend. You might want to consider some other amps before that one.

150 off ebay with shipping is the cost. its a mono so its pushing 900 to both (same as bridged 2 channel) 2ohm safe. already asked the guys at DeBoard Electronics here in town and they said it would do that, but their price was 240 compared to 150 off ebay. checked sonys site and everything he said matched up (they do professional home and car audio installs in central arkansas, good reputation). btw sony has gotten much better than they used to be. its 1300 max, 900 rms@2ohms. subs are 2 xplod 12"s (newer model, only 5months old) 1300 max, 390rms 4ohm svc.
