Amp for compvr10s

I have a pair of kicker compvr10s. They run at 300RMS at 4 ohm each. To make sure I am looking at the right amps, i need an amp that runs at:
300RMS x2 @ 4ohm or
600RMS x1 @ 4 ohm
IS this correct? Does anyone have any suggestions for an amp for those subs?

Those are dual voice coil right? You'll need decided how you want to wire these up you could go 4 ohm but I would probably go with a 1 ohm load.

http://www.bcae1.com/spkrimp.htm

about half way down the page you'll see this image:

That is the correct wiring for a 4 ohm load.

On that same page right above that image is the correct wiring for a 1 ohm load.

It's a tough call but I would probably wire it up for a 1 ohm load and get a mono block amp like perhaps a HiFonics TXi 7506

What sort of budget are you looking at? Also do you have a aftermarket headunit?

yeah, thats what kicker suggests and the subs are dual coil. My budget is limitless I guess but I dont want to spend an arm and a leg. My headuint is a kennwood ddx7015

I'm also gettin componet speakers (125rms) for the front and a set of for the back 35 (rms). I dunno if that will affect anything bc i planned on gettin a seperate amp for these

35w rms is pretty low might be hard pressed to find a quality amp that will run at that power level. I would get something with comparable power ratings, or put some 6.5" midbass in the back. With a budget like that I would look at Rainbows. Search these forums and you'll see they are quite popular.

I have the money, i just dont want to blow alot. The Rainbows just seem to ne too much $$$ and I dont like the idea of having to mod it in order for it to fit
