location for dual amps?

I have 2 amps that i would like to install on the back wall. they are alpine MRP-F450 and MRP-M650. They are the close to the same size (Foot Print (WxHxD) in: 13" x 9-31/64" x 2-23/64") <---- is 1 inch longer than other one.

I have my back seat removed and I am having a hard time being able to visualize the 2 amps mounted on the back wall. I have the power sliding rear window also. I was thinking of mounting them diagonal with the top leaning to the passenger side. i was also considering mounting them on top of each other in shelves at the jack location.

My question is "Is it possible to mount both on backwall and how would it be done? or What would be my best option to install these?

As soon as they are mounted i can enjoy my stealthbox

thanks for the help

Yes, they will both fit easily. I have three amps behind mine and my H701 processor and crossovers are all back there. You really just need to pull the seat back and then you can see how much room you have to work with.

the back is already off. I guess I'm just not able to picture how far up i can mount the amp without having any issues. Also if I will still be able to mount the amps on some MDF or just mount str8 to the wall

Hey Smokie,

We have the same truck and I'm planning on installing the MRP-F450 soon also. How did you end up attaching it to the back wall?

I mounted the 2 amps on some MDF against the backwall. The MDF is mounted on teh passenger side of the backwall. I had to cut away the factory cloth cover and mount the MDF against the wall. I'll try to get pics this weekend.
