Wire Length
Wire Length
I was wondering if someone could tell me if 17 feet of 4ga power wire would be enough to reach from behind the rear drivers seat up to the battery on a new model F150 Supercrew.
Most of the wiring kits I see have this lenght so I was trying to figure out if it was enough, and what better place to ask.

http://www.knukonceptz.com/ Is where I got mine. I don't have anything to compare but it seems like a quality kit. Worked great and fast shipping.
This is what I'm running 1800w through right now and I really like it: http://www.millionbuy.com/scoe3200.html
I've bought from KnuKonceptz as well and they have very good stuff. Their Kolossus Kable is some extreme stuff so I'm using it for my Big 3 upgrade.

Hey Impact does that Scosche kit come with 2 sets of RCA cables? Also what gauge is it exactly? Don't know how to do conversions.

yea it comes with 2 sets of 17 foot RCA cables. The main wire is 0 gauge 17 foot and 8 & 6 foot 4 gauge wires. 15 foot 14 or so gauge speaker wire. It's all pretty heavy stuff for the price. Rated at 3200 watts and it's made by scosche and they have been around a good while. If you want I can take some pics of the cables compared to the knukonceptz cable I have.
I'll take your word for it. And for $60 that was the price of most of the 4ga kits that I was looking at.
Would the 17ft of power cable be enough to reach from battery, down the drivers side, and to the rear of the seat on a Supercrew?

yea plus some to spare. I routed mine from the battery behind the passenger wheel well and on the underside through the body frame. Then up through a plugged hole in the under back passenger door floor panel. From there I went behind the right rear seatbelt panel to the back wall where I mounted the distro block.
