I have seen many of his ads. I just wish I knew how he gets them and keeps getting them. Those Kicker Comp C10a subs have not been made for years and his are new. That was back when the Comps were still really good subs.

That's cool! I still have my old school Punch-150 from back in the day in the garage. But mine is not quite that nice looking. At one time, it was running two 15's and an 18. That thing was magic back in tha day!

I don't feel so bad, I used to have Magnetic Field Amps when Carver got in on the car audio scene. Bought my first amp thru the Army/Air Force Exchange Catalog back in 89. I used to compete against owners of those amps pictured on E-bay.

Even my current system is old by todays standards. It was state of the art when I got it in 96.

Pioneer ODR Series
RS-K1 Head Unit
RS-P1 & RS-P50 Processors
RS-M1 12 Disc Changer
2 PPI PowerClass PC450 Amps (7 years old)
1 JL Audio 250/1 Amp (Only 5 years old)
Dynaudio Speakers & JL Stealthbox

Wow, some old Lanzar Optidrives and some beautiful and beloved SoundStreams. Great old school amps from back in the day when I even did installs. That SoundStream Picasso is worth a look....and, he just about an hour and a half from me.

thanks for the trip down memory lane....

BTW, nothinbutaford, I used to install SoundStreams in KY. Love the Class A. Only had a chance to install about 5 of them but had one heckuva installation that had one of the old SS Davinci amps and a tarantula. I wish I still had my SS Reference amps, but they got trashed in a wreck.

I have quite a few of the ones he has listed. Some still new and some not so much. Along with a bunch of old PG stuff.. MS2250,Octance,Bandit,Route66...and still a ton of old SS References and Class As.

Since you have had a lot of personal experience with quite a few of these "old school classics", how do they compare in SQ to your Arc SE line? I would love to upgrade to the SE line but, need mucho money to do it.
