Help... Amp not working....

my 4-channel amp is not powering the rear speakers correctly and it seems to be getting really hot. it almost sounds as though the rear speakers are blown. i tried to swap rca's and it did no good. the front sounds fine. is there anyway to test an amp?

Maybe a short in the speaker wires?? You could stick a DMM on the amps outputs and see if you get a reading (on the AC volt setting).

How are are your gains?
