I am looking to run a PPI DCX300.4 to power a set of Alpine SPS-571A 5"x7 and Alpine SPS-570A 5"x7. This is going in my 06 Mark LT. Head unit is a JVC KW-AVX706. Any thoughts?

 

The DCX models are the newer ones, which if you ask me, are nothing great. Back in the day PPI made some great stuff, but anymore its just like everything else. However, I dont recall hearing of any major problems with thew newer amps, just not the same quality that they used to be. Thats my opinion anyway

 

PPI is now made by DEI and is simply a marketing brand it is not the independant high quality company it once was.
