Please help!

Ok I just bought 2 Audiobahn 10 inch Aw1051T's off e-bay, they are a dual voice coil that will go both 4 ohm or 8 ohm. Each sub will handle 300 watts so 600 watts max for both. What I need to know is what kinda amp and how many watts I need to push these. I am only putting subs in, no mids or highs. So do I need a crossover or what. And a friend of mine mentioned something about bridging them. What doe this mean? I am new to the stereo scene and need some advice. Thanks.

From what I saw, these subs are dual 4 ohm coils with means you can wire them together for 4 ohm or 1 ohm. If you want to put 300 watts into each sub, you need to either get a really big 2 channel amp capable of running 300 x 2 @ 2 ohm or 600 x 1 @ 4 ohm or you need to find a mono amp capable of running down to 1 ohm.

And yes, you need to run a crossover on the subs.

1 more question.

have you got any suggestions on what amp I should get? I'm not really looking to put alot of money into it seeing as how I may not like it. I am willing to spend 200 or 250 on an amp. And I have heard they make amps with built in crossovers, am I right. You seem to know alot about this stuff. With what I have told you what amp would you recommend with everything i need.
