amp power wire

amp power wire

where do you guys run your power wire through the firewall on an 03 f150 extended cab?? any help appreciated thanks

I ran my 4 gauge through a grommet in the floor. If you pop off the passengers side sill plate, and look towards the front, you can see a grommet about the size of a half dollar or so there. Great place IMO. I can snap a pic if you cant find it.

For my 8 gauge I just drilled a hole in the firewall on the passengers side, right above where their feet would be.

I ran mine (also 4 guage) accross the engine (through some shielded plastic) to the drivers side, then through a grommit right behind the gas pedal (There's a little plastic cab, drill a small hole and push the wire through, it seals itself)..

What year is your truck and where did you ground your amp?
