Would this amp mount location be stable....

I am thinking of mounting my 4 channel amp onto the back plastic wall panel of the cab... I want to keep it off the floor and I thought that if I could mount it to the back wall it would be good. Would the back panel be able to hold it up and stay clipped into place? THanks

Matt

What I did on my ranger is I bent a piece of 3/8 thick aluminum to an L shape the back of it was the size of the amp and the bottom sat on the floor over the holes for the jump seat. I drilled the bottom to line up with the holes and used the jumpseat bolts to hold it in place. The back I drilled and taped for bolts to hold the amp in place. It sat off the back wall about 1/4 of an inch and never rattled against the wall.

Yes it will I just had a 4 channel mounted on the passenger side tonight. Towards the bottom of the seat back where thee some room. My plan is to put a second amp on the drivers side behind the rear seat when I get a sub as well.
