Rockford Fosgate Punch 160 problem.

In my 1999 F150 I have a sony deck, cd changer, (2) 8 Inch Soundstream Dual Voice Coil subs, and Rockford Fosgate Punch 60 amp. A ways back my Punch 60 amp burned out (after about 8 years of use, it was about a year 1997 model). I purchased a used year 2000 model Fosgate Punch 160a amp to replace it. Everything else will remain the same.

I tried to install the amp today and kept burning out the fuse coming right off the battery. The fuses are 30 amp. This is the same size fuse that was used with my Punch 60. The installation manual for the Punch 160a actually says the fuse is a 20 amp. What could be the problem? Could I actually need a bigger fuse? I'm using all the same connections that were used before.

Thanks
