2005 Supercab amp location

Need help!

Where's the best place to mount 2 amps in 2005 supercab?

One is an Audiobahn A4601T (fairly big in size) and the other is a JL Audio 250/1.

Is it possible to mount both of them behind the rear seat back?

If so:

1. Will the amp's get enough air

2. How the hell do you remove the seat backing.

I guess the easiest place is under the passenger front seat and under the passenger rear seat. I need the other side for sub box.

You should be able to mount them right below the SEARCH button after you use it......

This has been discussed so many times it's unbelievable.... not only that, but a plethura of pictures have been posted.

Check RamSST/S 's profile... He's got a good setup.

What sort of set up did you decide to go with?

Hey Kloost,

I'm going to mount my 4-channel amp under the rear passenger seat. The sub amp is going under the passenger front seat.

Although I haven't ordered it yet, I'm going with the same sub set-up as you. I'll be using a JL Audio 250/1 amp for the sub.

The 4 channel amp is an Audiobahn 4x75w and will be driving the 4 Infinity Kappa 572.5 in the 4 doors.

My only hang up right now, is which Indash DVD to get. It'll be one of the following"

Panasonic CQvd 7500U
Kenwood KVT 715 or KVT 815
or if I can wait, Alpine IVA-D310

The Jensen unit has an incredible screen (1.5 million pixels), but I'm afraid of the brand. But for under $800, it seems like a deal. I read on a couple of other sites, the people that have them, really think it's a great deal and love the unit.

Thanks for asking.

How's your sub and sub-box holding up. Was it worth it?

Every thing still holding on. I stopped by the audio store and they helped me improve the crossovers and HU levels-- Even sounds better!

I'm ditching the Pioneer 3-ways in the front doors and installing comps (Alpine type R's) I'm thinking of bridging my amp to run the comps and the HU for the rears. Need to fiddle around with it a bit.

The guys at the shop liked the set-up and the sound.. " Real Clean Dude"

Kloost,

I'm glad to hear it's still holding up and that others like the way it sounds.

Which sub did you end up getting with the box?
