04 f150 system install questions

I have a 04 f150 supercrew and I had a few installation questions.
#1 i using an amp that takes speaker level inputs and i am keeping my factory head unit. do i tap into the speaker wires behind the head unit and run them to the amp and then back out to the doors from the amp output? i just didn't know if there was an easier way to get the signal to the amp? i don't want to cut corners and decrease the quality of the signal

#2 if i put a sub box under the seat where can i installt he amp? it is too big to go under the front seats. is there room behind the back seat, and if so how do i remove the seat?

thanks in advance!
Daniel

#1 Yes, tap into them behind your HU with LOC and then run RCAs to you amp. Then go to your door with speaker wire from you amp.

#2 What size subs are you going with? You can do 2 8''s and install you amp as I did. (look in my gallery). I have a large 4 channel amp under my pass. seat. I installed long bolts to keep the front up off the floor to keep the air flow from that vent under there. Picture of that too in gallery. If you are using a box that goes all the way across, you can remove the back of the seat. Do a search, there are many threads on this and one with step by step instructions. If you go that route just make sure and get your setting right and connections tight the first time. Don't want to be removing that back more than once.
My only concern about the amp back there is the heat, not so much of it getting out but more so of the amp touching the vinyl seat once it's back in place.
Good luck!!
