Power and Ground to amp
Is it ok to run 1 power wire to 2 amps? Is it alright to run 1 ground as well?
i.e.)run power from battery to first amp and then run a short power from amp #1 to amp #2.

Personaly I would not.
Pick up a Distribution block. They are not that expensive. If you have not done an install on your amps yet, pick up a amp kit for the 2 amps. It should include the Distribution block and all the wiring/connectors that you need.
