has anyone tried to mount an amp on the bottom of the bench seat on the passenger side in the extended cab. Do you think the stereo shop can do it. Its not solid on the bottom of the seat but i did not know if you could take the cover off and mount a board to the metal braces and than put the seat cover back on and be able to mount the amp to that. I was tryin not to move the jack and some guys told me those would not mess with the wires under the front seats because they think they deal with the airbag system.

 

Do you mean mount the amp upside down? If so, it's not recommend because it can cause overheating issues.

 

What he said. Since heat travels up it will just stay in the amp.
Just mount it on the floor
