Bi-Amping

Speakers - SPS571A Alpine Component speekers
Amp - MRV-F340 4 channel Alpine V12 Amp

Situation - want to take the 2 front channels and send to the 2 tweeters. Take the 2 rear channels and send to the 2 mids.

Question - the cross overs that came with the speakers do not support bi-amping, however, my amp does have both high/low crossovers built in for both front and rear channels.

Is it still safe to do it this way (using the amps built in cross overs and removing the speaker crossovers)without adding in an external crossover before the amp?

No, the amp alone does not filter at the correct frequencies. You would destroy your tweeters. According to crutchfield/alpine the amp's filters are between 30-400 hz. I don't know the exact # but you would want to filter out everything below 2-3khz for the tweets.
