Alpine 4 Channel Amps
Ok guys, I recently installed all four Infinity Kappa 5x7's in my front and rear doors (finally.) I want to know what you guys all think of the two Alpine 4-Channel amps I am looking at.
The MRV-F340: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-M5FUJKF...&avf=N&search=
AND the MRV-F540: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-M5FUJKF...&avf=N&search=
My plan was to bridge the F340 for subs (I don't want to go nuts with the low end, I would just like a good punch for the cab of the truck) and use the F540's 80x4 for the brand new speakers I just installed. The Kappas are way underpowered with my MTX 2-channel that is powering them now. Also, the MTX does not have a subsonic filter or adjustable crossover and it does not sound good at all.
2 channels at 130 bridged (MRV-F340) is more than enough for me. I have shopped for the amps online and will total around 500-600 bucks total. What does everyone think?
I will install it myself, so that will not be a problem. I am just looking for the best amp for the job.
