Unhappy Amp Question!

I need help finding an amp for my setup. The setup is 2 10" JL w3v2's under the rear seat of my extended cab in a box from musicmooseaudio.com.

Now my problem is that the box takes up all of the room under the rear seat and i need somewhere to put an amp. This amp would have to power the 2 subs that are both rated for 300 watts. I was thinking about putting the amp under the front seat, but i cant find one that is the right size and/or the right amount of power.

Also, should i run a mono amp or a 2 channel amp for this setup?Eventually, i want to add component speakers and an amp for those. This is going to run off the stock head unit, if it's possible.

Thanks, Jon

Look at some class D amps to fit the bill for providing the power you want for the subs and the size you need to fit it under a seat. Memphis makes a nice 1000watt class D that is very small. Not to mention the class D generates very little heat so you may even be able to fit it behind the top portion of the back seat. There are lots of others available that fit the bill but the memphis is what first popped into my head for really small but really powerful.

Falcon,

which music moose box are u getting that fits the 10w3v2? because i looked into that option and even with the 2 inch seat lift u r only goin to get about 5.5 inches of mounting depth for the sub and the 10w3v2 requires 5.75 inches.

thanx for the reply

if possible a link goes straight to the box would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2003 exteneded cab, the mounting depth is 5 3/4" so it works perfect. Check it out.... http://musicmooseaudio.com/ford_f_150b.html
