Nice!!! Those tips will look killer with your red truck and black wheels. What size tips did you decide on?

2.5in and 3.5 out. Going with a lighting style exit in front of the rear passenger wheel

Watch those tips, the black powder coat comes off pretty bad after a few thousand miles. I have the exact same tip on my truck, looks like crud now

I'm doing a lighting style exit so hopefully they don't chip.

Nice. I have been thinking seriously about ordering the XR1 Borlas for mine. They say its the quietest muffler they have. Disappointed to hear about the black tips failing. I had hope to begin blacking out my ride between now and the summer.

I'm not sure "they" are right on that.

when I called Borla and talked to their tech dept and ask for the quietest one this is what they told me. Are you aware of a different one? I'm wanting to tone mine down a bit.

From what I read it's fairly quiet and some reported it stock like. On gm forums they complained about it being quiet... Which isn't a bad thing for me. Hear that a/c wine

That's what I read. I want to hear the blower and be able to drive the way I want around town without the cops hearing me 2-3 miles away lol. Plus it will add to the sleeper effect which has been my goal from day one. Looking forward to this now as well as seeing your results 429.

If quiet was the goal, you probably should have gone with ProXS. If those are 12" XR-1s they will put out the volume Roush Off Road does. Then figure in the further added volume of longtube headers.
