Howdy everyone! Just bought my dream truck! Happens to be a King Ranch 2002 F-150 with only 39K miles on it! YEEESSSSSSSS!!! *happy dance* (err...in a manly sorta way).

I have always wanted an F-150, but let TWO wives talk me out of it. Now I got it. Traded in a P.O.S. 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited on it, got a great deal from CarMax, and now it's mine.

I'm sure you'll be seeing me around the forums lots...no mods at all yet, but the Previous Owner did all the maintenance and loaded some new tires on it before he got rid of it.

I love it

Now, gotta find out how to get a build sheet copy for it (anyone know who I call at Ford to get one?) and buy that bug deflector....and start looking for a tonneau cover (hard, color-keyed).

Damn, have I mentioned I Love this truck???

Just picked up an 07 with 10 miles on it today. Went from an 02 XL with 4.2L V6. Big difference

Get an SCT Tuner and tunes for it...no other engine mods needed.

Just got my 07 KR a few weeks ago with 5 miles on it. I ordered it Nov 30th exactly the way I wanted it and it was supposed to be shipped on the 9th of Dec but was delayed until the 22nd. I picked it up the 26th. Like everyone says, it is a beautiful truck. My favorite color is the copper but because it is my everyday work truck, I had to get white. It shows the least amount of scratches. I had just sold my 2002 F150 Lariat with over 150,000 and never had one problem with it.

I have just started reading this website and cannot believe the info you can find here. I am very excited to read more when I have time.

I'll post some pics as soon as I can get her cleaned up. I live in South Denver, CO, and as you probably have heard, we've been pounded with snow out here for about 3-4 weeks now... Got nearly 3 feet of snow the first round, and over a foot the second time. The skies clear, but the slop on the roads will be around for a while... Wash the "King" and its clean until you drive it again.

I can tell ya that the truck handles excellent in all this snow. I put 4 of those 60 pound sandbag tubes in the bed over the rear axle and I hardly even need 4x4! Only time I've needed it if I'm stopped on a hill...
