Dealership Problems
Dealership Problems
Last month I bought a new F-150. It turned out I needed to also buy a "two-step" power board, in order to get into the truck. I have mobility issues due to MS and am unable to raise my leg high enough to get into the truck without them. I am trying to submit the paperwork for Ford's mobility rebate. The issue is the dealership I purchased my truck from is filled with a bunch of crooks, and I have filed a complaint for false advertising with the state. My last contact with them was about a week after I purchased the truck. Ford's website states I have to go to my Ford dealership to submit the paperwork. Obviously since I'm still sore from the last carnal knowledge they had with me, they are not my dealership. I can't get the other dealership here to call me back for anything. Does anyone know of a way to submit the paperwork to Ford for the rebate without placing myself in danger of more unwanted carnal knowledge by the dealership I purchased my truck from? Ford used to have a way to contact them on their website. Now the only address I can find is for investor services.
There is a member here that posts occasionally, Ford Motor Company. Try messaging them and asking for their assistance. Hope you get something resolved.

It appears they have gone on Christmas break. Oh well, I guess I'm just out the money. Seriously considering whether I want to buy an other Ford. We haven't had much luck with GM or Chrysler so we are very reluctant to try an brand.
They've been completely unresponsive.
I quit buying anything Firestone because the way they abandoned Ford (a major customer) with the Explorer fiasco. If Firestone was going to treat a customer like Ford so poorly, how would they treat me, if I had a problem with their product? The treatment I have received from Ford with this purchase has been truly abysmal.

In a time with tight margins and heavy competition it seems FMC has decided to do away with customer service as well as sedans. It has become very difficult to buy another Ford for my wife. I'm thinking Land Rover or BMW.
Update: I sent Mr. Frick another rather sarcastic email, thanking him for his assistance (no assistance was offered). That night I received an email from one the managers in the FMC customer service division, of which Mr. Frick is the president. The manger was very helpful and understanding. He put me in contact with the COO of the dealership group. The COO arranged a phone call with me and general manager. I threw the GM under the bus during my accounting of what occurred. When I was done retelling my account, I was advised I was correct and they offered a refund. I made it very clear I had screen shots and HTML of the advertised price.
The manager from Ford said he would work to help me receive the Ford rebate to modify the truck from a different dealership. I'm contacting the dealership 2/3 to follow up.

I completely understand you, I had a similar problem with a dealer who let me down after the sale.
You can try to contact Ford Mobility directly via their dedicated line: 1-800-952-2248 (option 1).
They can often process the file without going through the dealer.
Good luck to you, you deserve better than this kind of trouble
