2018 2.7 10spd - acceptable tuner fix for crap shifting?
Hello all,
Found related threads but not really any that talked about "Yes, this tune/tuner was worth the money as an improvement/fix to this shifting issue" so hoping for some specific feedback since this issue is still being found by 2018+ owners.
Just bought my 2018 2.7 XLT used with just under 75k mi. on it. 10spd, 4x4, seems pretty well taken care of (i.e., not rode hard and put away wet). Previous owner DID do some light trailer pulling with it but only had it for the previous 25k mi.
I'm running into most of the common shifting issues found in the 10sps, rough 3-4 or 4-3 shifts, same around 7-8/8-7, seems to be guessing at lower speed/part throttle situations, etc.
Been looking into tuners that claim to 'fix' these issues along with all the hp/tq gains, but curious which ones actually WORKED in curing this issue. Would love the added power, but taming this transmission is my main goal. Anyone found a brand of tuner and programmed tunes that have taken good care of this issue?
TIA for your feedback!
