P2007 Code on my 2016 5.0

My 2016 coyote motor just got the dreaded P2007 code. I'm sure this has been talked about on here but i searched and nothing has come up. i know what the issue is and I'm just looking for what others have done since these upper intake manifolds are not available. has anyone locked the valves (not sure what you call them) to the wide-open position and bought a tuner to reflash the computer and eliminated the engine light? if you did what tuner did you go with? i want something i don't need a laptop for so a handheld scanner is what i'm looking for with 3 tunes. any help would be greatly appreciated. my dealer todl me some have been waiting for almost 2 years for the intake and of course Ford can't make up a retro fit kit to use either a GT or newer intake with a reflash,

thanks

It may not need a manifold. The IMRC actuator or wiring could be bad or the flaps could be carboned up and stuck. You should be able to drive it as is with no significant issues.

thanks for the reply. i'm going to take it off and get a good look at it. if it's not broken then i can clean it and check the wiring at that time. maybe it's just dirty like you mentioned. I'll add a catch can while i'm at it.

much appreciated

Ok, i removed my intake manifold and the rod is snapped off approx an inch from the end where the sensor is located. that rod is easily removed from the intake which i did but the ball for the vacuum is not moving at all so i can't remove it from the rod to reuse it on another one if i find one. i think i'm,going to weld it in place since there is lots of room to weld without any interference. just need to make sure it's all lined up for the sensor to read correctly. hoping it will hold until i find a rod from a used one or finally get a new intake manifold if ford ever makes them. really no reason for this to snap off like that, it just sits inside the plastic sensor and there is no resistance there at all. they should have used a bigger rod like the dodge rams have. if anyone has any experience with this please let me know what you ended up doing.
