ABS/Hill Assist/Cruise Control

I have a 2016 F150 4x4 with the twin turbo 3.5 ecoboost, about 70,000 miles. Several weeks ago I had several warnings come on at startup, to include Hill-Assist start, parking aid, and traction control. It turned off, but then came on again a couple days later and remained on. I took it to O'reilly Auto and they ran a scan. I got two trouble codes:

C0031-38 - Left front wheel speed sensor Signal Frequency Incorrect
C0051-62 - Steering Wheel Position Sensor Signal Compare Failure

I was hoping the speed sensor would take care of things so I replaced it this weekend. The steering sensor I think requires the entire steering column to be replaced (sensor not serviceable individually). I also disconnected the battery for several hours to clear the code. My understanding is that even if I didn't clear the code, after startup and driving a bit, that code would clear itself because all ABS faults would be in order? Well, I am still getting the same lights. My biggest issue for now is that the cruise control doesn't work, which I used constantly.

My plan was to disconnect the wheel sensor and run a voltmeter on it while spinning the wheel to see if I get a reading, thinking maybe its the hub assembly and the reluctor ring is not making contact. Anything else I should be looking for on this? Is there a way to diagnose the issue beyond this simple DTC? I don't think the basic OBDII scanner will test the actual ABS module. Is this something that will end up having to go to the dealer? My dealer is at least a month out on repairs, so I'm hoping I can take care of this myself.

Thanks in advance.

Those two codes are separate but yet suggest your front end may have some damage that affected the speed signal and the steering wheel angle check the system does separately.
In the steering, there are two sensors.
Angle and Torque applications done by the driver.
This is where the two may cross paths, as separate faults.
Did you hit anything or have any pulling to keep correcting while driving.?
Any tire wear etc
Let us know if this is the case.
Good luck.

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever figure out what is causing it?

Thank you
