2016 Back Up camera problems. (Tried all the obvious already)

2016 f150 Supercrew back up camera quit on me. I've extensively searched online and found very little that was helpful. It first was intermittent, now I got nothing.
Blue screen when shift to reverse, then goes to a message "camera is unavailable".
So far I've checked voltage at the camera and I have 12v on pin 1 and ground on pin 5. I I also tried replacing the camera and nothing changed.
I verified continuity of pin 4 from the camera harness up to the outer firewall, but then it disappears once it goes inside the cab. (Flat out can't find it at all)

I don't know what kind of signals or voltages I should be getting on any of the other wires, and the internet is no help.
Any suggestions on where to go from here?
Thanks.

I just had my 2016 Ecoboost Screw in to the dealer and they said that they found the wiring harness inside the tailgate had issues. It's about a $500 harness.
Now my backup camera works perfectly!!

Hmm, If that's the case I will rebuild the harness myself. I've pinned out a few of the wires already but I'll pin them all for continuity to be sure. I have an appointment with the dealership to diagnose it, but I can't get in until Sept 10.

Just the dealership diagnosis was $130. You can remake an entire harness for that tailgate if you stick with it.

I am disabled so I wasn’t able to do it myself. 😞
