New Guy

Sorry for this but I'm stressed and frustrated that I can't get any info online as to my issue

I have a 2018 F-150 XLT 4WD, 2.7 L. I got a computer code of P0096 (intake air temperature sensor or Air charge sensor?) My issue is that my engine light is on and I am trying to find out where my IAT is located. I thought I found it, but not sure. Also need to know if it is removed with a tool or by hand. Please help

If you are still on warranty, take it to a dealer.

The air charge temp sensor is at the turbo, and the IAT sensor is in the intake tube.

x2 -- If you are still within warranty, give that headache to the dealer.

I would but I'm up against a time crunch. The light came on this morning and I looked everywhere for the part including the dealer. Problem is I have to take my son to college on Thursday morning from Maryland to New York City. Don't know what to do now. I also thought that the IAT sensor and the Air Charge Temp sensor were the same thing????

If it's running okay, just drive it, you shouldn't be hurting anything, the PCM should pretty much compensate. Take it to the dealer when you get back.
