I drove 4 hours each way for my F150. Was 22k under original "sticker" though....13 months old

Thanks to all. I ended up buying a 2018 F250. Had to drive almost to the Penn. line through D.C. and back.

Short bed on a F250 crew cab is actually longer than the long bed on a F150 crew cab - 6.75' vs. 6.5'. Max tow is 12500# with 3.73 gears, 15000# with 4.30 gears, assuming 4wd and crew cab. Max payload is well over 3000# so you won't have any problems. If it doesn't have it already, recommend you get the OEM Ford brake controller installed, along with a weight distribution hitch.
