Random horn honking and lights flashing

Ok. Long story. I have 2 issues. I have a 2015 F150 5.0 v8. My horn started randomly honking and all lights flashing when parked in my driveway. Key was hanging up so not an accidental panic button pushed. Changed battery in FOB and issue still occurs. Only way to stop it was to disconnect battery. The positive battery cable was corroded. After I noticed a small black wire hanging. It runs along under the windshield with a small red wire from the opposite side of truck. In my rush to unhook the battery I believe I may have knocked it loose from the cable but am not certain. But I don’t remember it being loose before... so I need to know where it should attach.
2nd issue. We had a leak in our sunroof. Apparently it has been leaking for quite some time. It was clogged drains which the dealership fixed. While there they replaced the corroded battery cable and said that should fix my electrical issue as they believed the connection was bad due to corrosion. They couldn’t get the electrical issues to occur in the 3 days at dealership. All was good. Brought home and I had to kill mold growing in truck from leak and had made it pretty moist inside an already wet interior from vinegar and it was cold and damp last night. Truck started honking and lights flashing again at 6am! Had to run outside in my underwear. Ugh! Had to unhook from battery. Trying to get all dried out inside but while moving it into the garage tonight I noticed that when I had it running and closed the doors that made the honking/lights issue happen again. Door opened, no honking, door closed, honking. Tested with same result on every door. Before it wouldn’t do anything while truck was running, only while parked. Now it’s all the time. At a loss.....

I'd start by checking all fuse boxes and modules for water ingress with subsequent corrosion.

agreed, especially need to check the interior fuse box which should be in the RH kick panel area on your truck

Did you ever find the cause of this issue. Mine is doing the same thing now.

One day my alarm went off on it's own a couple of times. Found out it was a moth flying around the inside of the cab, setting off the motion sensors.
