My 2018 build thread

Figured I had a build thread in the 11th gen forum, may as well have one for my 2018.

I purchased it back in November of 19, with roughly 40000km of bone stock goodness. I haven't added a whole lot of aftermarket as of yet, but I have taken care of a few things. It now has the 2" fox level coils on the front, with gen 1 raptor rear shocks on the rear. I had just rebuilt them for my 06, and decided to keep them for the 18. Its got 17" method nv305's wrapped in 35/12.5 toyo m/t's. Always been a fan of the way those tires look, but had never personally run them on anything.

I plan on following through with a gen 2 raptor suspension swap(with gen 1 front shocks), just need to finish getting the suspension components. Torn between oem or aftermarket for the fenders and bedsides. I also have everything to build my own dual exhaust with an x-pipe, borla xr-1 mufflers, and exhaust tips. Will go side exit in front of the rear tire like my old truck. Have also purchased a few goodies from boostedgreygoose designs.

Hey! I love this pairing. Do you experience any rubbing at all with this setup? I was thinking of doing the 2.0 fox leveling with these 35s but worry about the rubbing... if they do I'll go with 285/75-17

They rub a bit, but only really offroad. Hard to describe but it’s in a full lock position and either side is near full compression. On road it’s never an issue.

Swapped the fronts side to side, and haven’t touched the rears at all. If I tweaked the rears back a tad, I probably would t have any rubbing.

She’ll eat if I let it. Clean up is a pain though.
