2019, I was parallel parked. As I went to pull away the steering was stiff, turned it a little harder and heard a cracking sound. Now all the steering wheel controls are out and the airbag light is on.

Time for a trip to the dealer...

 

Turns out it was the clock spring. Repaired and on my way.

 

I was just reading this and was fixing to tell you that.

 

It was either defective or installed wrong at the factory.
