Custom rebuild questions

I'm really interested in a Supercab F150 with a 5 and a half foot bed. I know ford stopped offering that package on anything on the Raptor in 2009. Ive Zeros in on this 133" wheelbase becouse that will fit in my Garage (just barely) and still give me a rear bench that I kinda need. I also really love the suicide rear doors on the supercab. I've looked and looked and finding a 133" wheelbase F150 with all the options I want and is in good shape is kinda impossible. I mean there is the Raptor but that name pushes the truck into a price range I'm not happy with.

So my latest crazy idea is to pick up a 13th gen supercab that was built with the 145" wheel base but was in a rear end collision and needs some major repair. I'd like to pick up a new 133" frame from Ford or Tasca and a new or second hand 5 and a half foot bed and do a custom rebuild. One thing I like about this plan is I can make purchases in phases and not have to finance everything up front. Understanding this is going to be a pricey project, Here are my questions.

I know I'd need a new frame, driveshaft and bed box, but what other parts would need to be replaced to match up to the shorter wheelbase?

Has any one actually done this before?

Dig up a VIN from a truck with the bed and cab combination you want and the VIN from the truck combination you want to start with. Get yourself a tray full of snacks, a cooler full of drinks, a good internet connection and go to work. There are a bunch of factory affiliated parts websites, some better than others, where you can browse and figure this out. By the time Sunday rolls around you should have been able to compile a list of the differences between the two configurations and hopefully a parts list of what you need. There’s no other way to accomplish your mission other than the time it takes to figure out the differences.
Prior to me buying my 17 RCSB, XL, 5.0 I decided to hot rod the hell out of our 14 Flex and buy my wife a new one. V-8, chopped top, bigger brakes, coil overs, a pretty intensive list. The primary concern was being able to retain the complete Flex interior including instrument cluster, heater & A/C controls, power windows, et.al. After a week of research, about 5 hours a day, while my wife was in ND I came to the conclusion that the primary requirement was not achievable. The Aluminator, automatic transmission, driveshaft, independent rear suspension with a 9” center section, etc. was the easy part. Interfacing it into the factory systems of the Flex proved to be more work and money than I deemed reasonable. You will probably come to the same conclusion.
Good luck with your endeavor.
