My son has a 2018 XLT Sport 302a. He mentioned that he liked the look of the Lariat's daytime running lights (the LEDs around the perimeter of the housing). I may have a line on a pair of Lariat lights and was wondering if we were to switch them over to his truck, is it just plug and play or is there a new module or just wondering what is involved in the change over?
It isn't plug & play if he has the halogens. I wanted to go that route too, but instead I bought the Morimoto XB headlights. I saw a video that these headlights show a higher lumen than the Lariat LED's. My neighbor has the Lariat, so we compared one night, and mine were brighter.
I bought these last October, and couldn't be happier with them.

I've been thinking about buying these. I bought Anzo Planks for my '16 XLT Sport and put LED bulbs in them; the light output was mediocre at best. Is there a noticeable difference in the lows and highs with the XBs? With the Anzos, the high beams weren't useable at all. I love the look of the Anzos but these Morimotos look great and seem to have good lighting reviews.
