Hello, new to forum and just searched around for my questions, but really didn't find my answer so, here is a new thread.

1. are any warranty complications if I were to add an aftermarket remote start system?
2. how do they work with the factory Auto Start-Stop feature? Any issues?
3. what aftermarket brands are suggested? Viper, 12Volt.Solutions, Clifford, others?

Probably the safest option and then should be covered by the warranty I have.

Around here, there has been radio ads going on for BOGO on remote start systems. Yet I hear the horror stories of botched installs from these places.
Best to leave it to the "real" pros....

I installed this remote start on my 2018 XLT and it was plug and play works great! It took about 5 minutes to install and comes complete with harness for a plug and play installation. You can get this from Amazon, I am not affiliated with them in any way but wanted to pass along a remote start that works and you can install without a dealer for those without the push button start F150's Start-X Ford F-150 2015-2018 Remote Start Starter (NO HONK-Lock-Unlock-Lock)

Thanks for the reply. I agree and I research the snot out of things prior to purchasing. I’ve learned that lesson years ago on all sorts of things.

Remote starters are much easier to install now than in the old days.
I'm the past they had to solder in wires for the remote start and there were often issues.
Now they just plug in a module. I had a remote code alarm starter installed in my last vehicle and it worked great. It only took them about a half hour to get it installed and it worked great.
