I know there are a number of threads regarding transmission issues with the 10 speed. Im having the same issues with general odd shifts and harsh shifting. Im also having an issue with downshifting. The engine hangs around 12-1400 rpms while stopping. This makes the truck harder to stop because it's fighting the engine. I also noticed that while cruising if I take my foot off of the gas pedal the rpms don't always drop. The engine continues to hold rpms. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues with their 2018 5.0. I haven't heard these mentioned specifically. Thanks for any input.

 

Sounds like a safety issue to me. I would go to your local Ford dealer and see if they can't put a data logger on it.
