My5L 2011 3.5L Supercrew F150 Ecoboost will intermittently do a 'hard' shift going from 1st into 2nd gear. In addition, when slowing down from 6th gear, there are occasional hard shifting (not as hard going from 1st to 2nd that sometimes feels so rough it could shatter the rear U-joint) but going from 6th to 5th then to 4th gear (4th a little rougher) is felt.

 

I think there's a TSB on this. Take it to a Ford dealer for reprogramming.

 

I had all the updates done. None of them helped.
