I just took delivery on my 2018 F150 Lariat, 502A, SYNC3, etc. It appears that the ambient lighting is now a single color. On my 2015 F150 Lariat as well as my wifes 2017 Explorer you had the option of changing the color.

Anyone know when this option went away?

 

I just bought the exact same truck Lariat with 502A package and it don't have it either, come to find out its another option you've got to add to it, comes with adaptive speed control and ambient lighting

 

Maybe the dealer can add it?

 

Well, I have adaptive cruise and while I have ambient lighting it, it's a single color (you can't change it). Apparently Ford decided it was no longer an option people wanted.

 

My 2017 Lariat has the option to change the ambient lighting color, i do not have the adaptive cruise. On my truck it is changed on a menu on center screen where the radio controls are, not on the dash menu.
