I just recently purchased a 2017 ford F1 50 XLT FX4 super crew that have Goodyear Wranglers on it. However looking at the spare mounted underneath I noticed it was a Perrelli tire and I was wondering if this is normal from the factory or did somebody swap it out prior to my purchase?

 

Same here, purchased a 2017 F150 lariat super crew in august and it also has the same tire set up. Goodyear Wranglers with a Perelli full size spare. I am sure there is a cost factor involved for Ford or steel spare rim provider.

It is normal. The manufacturer will do everything possible to prevent spending any more money than needed.
