Ford Techs pick their favorite F-150 engine

Like the post on the HP says, years ago, the question of what engine to buy was easy — just get the V-8. But it's more complicated than that today, so it's interesting to see what the techs have to say about what they'd pick.

I have a question is it anything I could do to my 2016 f150 2.7 ecoboost to make it sound better I have 30 series flow masters on it but it still sounds like a fast and furious Honda.

Hate the sound of my truck

My truck sounds like a fast and furious Honda. I have a 2.7 ecoboost with 30 series flow master.

No disrespect, but if you did not want a truck that sounds like a ricer with a fart can, then you should have bought a truck with a real engine. The only way to get that real V-8 sound is to buy a real V-8

This...

There's no way to make those little turbo motors sound like anything better than a ricer with a fart pipe

Agreed, if I were buying a 150, it would be equipped with a 5.0.
