Help, Bought used 2016 Super Crew and it did not have jack or tool kit. I want to access the spare tire and until I get my jack parts recently ordered from my Ford dealer, is there an alternative way of lowering my spare?

 

I think on my F250 they used an 'ease out tool' and extension bit.

I told them to pop they key out so I could use the square tube to drop it like usual. The key is long gone.

If that didn't answer your question I think most jack kits on newer vehicles use that square tube to catch the lowering mechanism.

 

I would just go to the/a dealer & ask to borrow a handle to lower the spare.
