I don't know if someone has already made a post about this issue or not. Haven't found one on it. Anyways, I was at the south padre island beach this past weekend, and I was a good distance down the beach, (about 12 miles.) not going to thick sand or anything like that. Not stressing out the truck. And on my way in, there was someone stuck pretty deep into the soft stuff. I've taken my truck through some really soft stuff before no problem, in and out like a champ. So I went over and help him out. I backed up my truck and hooked up to his truck, got in, gave it a good yank, and his truck didn't budge. So I backed up again, put it drive, gave it a good amount of gas, and nothing. Truck didn't move. Wouldn't rev above 1k rpm for a while. The truck had 0 power at all. Had very little power in reverse but nothing going forward. After switching it in and out of 4h and 4L, I got the idea of trying it in sport mode. I got all power back and pulled the guy out, after waiting there for 30 minutes to get my truck to move. Has this happened to anyone else? This has been bugging the crap out of me.
