Dead on driveway

I have a nice new 2016 Ford F 150 Super cab with the Lariat package. More bells and whistles than I might figure out in my lifetime. Only problem is none of these work when the truck has died on the driveway with a dead battery three times in less than a month since I bought it. Needless to say my local Ford dealer doesn't like to see me come in. Last time it was there for three days and was pronounced healthy with a good alternator, module, and battery. Very next day sitting on the driveway a delivery person informed me that the lights were flashing on my vehicle. Sure enough it appears the hazard warning lights had been activated. Opened the truck using the mechanical key and heard a relay clicking under the dash. Tried to start the vehicle and of course nothing there. Dash indication of the battery saver feature being engaged to save the battery. Little late on that one. Current plan is to turn off as many things as possible to see if that makes any difference. If not then the next step will be to do the parasitic test on the battery.

bd, if you have a dealer you trust, I'd take it back in, especially now that you have an idea of what's going on. Should allow them to track it down and this is a new 2016, you shouldn't have to address this issue yourself...if you have having issues with the dealer, there are several Ford Customer Service folks on this forum who do a great job escalating things and taking care of Ford customers who are having issues...

Let's get you back on the road with your new F-150, baddoggy. Please send over a PM with your full name, best contact number, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealer. I'll check out available avenues of assistance.

OP,

2016 model should still be under warranty. If you start screwing with it, the dealer may try to claim that you damaged it, so I wouldn't mess with it. Take it back to the dealer and use the warranty, that's what it's there for. In the mean time start documenting EVERYTHING and check into the requirements to return the truck under the Lemon Law.
