Is there a wiring kit to add an amplifier to a 2016 f150 with the 8 inch screen with Sync 3. On my old truck which was a 2011 FX4 I used a PAC AOEM-FRD24 wiring harness to add my amplifier for my subwoofers. Is there an equivalent one for the 2016 F150?

 

Short answer, no. Unless you have the non sony setup. If you have the factory installed sub, then you have the sony amp. No sub, no amp. The sub less systems can be upgraded just like any other system and most likely uses the same adapter harness.

 

I don't have the Sony setup and it does not have a factory sub. I just have the 8 inch screen with Sync 3. Is my best bet to tap into the back door speaker wires as my amp can take speaker level inputs.
